Genesis School of Dance is a new ministry offering provided by the Point Douglas Gospel Choir (PDGC). Since 2009, PDGC has existed to motivate and enable youth from all cultural and racial backgrounds to use the arts to praise and worship God, and to provide youth with the skills and attitudes to flourish in further education and life. Established with a focus on choral music, PDGC is now expanding the scope of its programs to include other art forms, and is excited for the opportunity to bring Genesis School of Dance to life!

Genesis School of Dance will be a comprehensive, community-oriented, Christian dance school with a focus on excellence. Class offerings will include creative movement, mix n match, jazz, ballet, modern, tap, rhythmic gymnastics, acro, hip hop, funky, musical theatre and specialty teams/companies.

The incredible teaching and administrative “Gene-staff” are committed to providing a safe space for excellent dance training to bring glory to God through the art of dance. Part of our mission is to make dance accessible to all, and we are committed to removing financial barriers by providing sponsorship, subsidy and work for trade options for those who are eligible.
